Prosper Tax Volunteers

You greet everyone visiting the Tax Site to create a welcoming atmosphere. You screen taxpayers to determine the type of assistance they need and confirm they have the necessary documents to complete their tax returns. Tax Prep certification is not required for this position.

You provide free tax return preparation for eligible taxpayers. You use the online tax preparation software to complete the tax return, taking information from the tax client's documents.  Our Tax Team will provide full training and support so that you can successfully complete the required IRS certification.  No prior experience needed!
